Canadian Artist | Victoria, British Columbia

Born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia, Dale Hitchcox has been passionate about art for as long as he can remember. He began drawing at just four years old, setting the stage for a lifelong creative journey.

Dale studied at the Ontario College of Art and Emily Carr College, developing a versatile artistic background that spans traditional painting and drawing, digital illustration, photography, and animation.

Over the years, his artwork has found its way into thousands of homes and has been featured in books, magazines, greeting cards, and jigsaw puzzles. Beyond the visual arts, Dale's creative interests also extend to music and performance.

At the heart of his work is a simple yet meaningful philosophy: to create beautiful images that inspire happiness and positive emotions.

His artwork Fisherman's Wharf captures the colourful spirit of one of Victoria's most beloved waterfront destinations, where charming floating homes and coastal character create a scene full of warmth and personality.

We are delighted to welcome Dale Hitchcox to the Palmaris Puzzles family and bring his artwork to life as a beautifully crafted wooden jigsaw puzzle, made here in British Columbia.
