This is the first Palmaris puzzle I’ve completed - I’ve bought three but haven’t had a chance to do the others yet. I absolutely love this puzzle, with its beautiful artwork it was a delight to handle the pieces and complete it - it’s really good quality with a pleasing heft to the pieces and the lighthouse whimsies are exquisite! When I get time I would like to complete this puzzle again from the reverse side as the cut is superb and can be appreciated more fully from the reverse. Delivery to the UK was quick, the packaging was sturdy and I was delighted to be able to communicate with founder Oleg Pochikaev who was most kind. I cannot recommend Palmaris Puzzles more highly and am delighted to discover this company!
I love double sided puzzles so I love my Palmaris puzzles. I started with the Four Seasons kickstarter puzzle and have added Tofino, Moraine Lake, Heritage Park and Cat Wizard puzzles since then.
I chose the Enchanted Forest pattern to match the shape and theme of my photo. I chose a photo with about nine different zones of colour/texture so it wouldn’t be too hard to solve.
It arrived the same week I ordered it. The colours and quality are great. Solving the front was straightforward. Solving the reverse was more challenging but very feasible. Overall a lot of fun and well worth the money.
Will definitely order more custom and standard puzzles in the future from Palmaris.
I love all Palmaris puzzles -- beautiful art, quality pieces, and wonderful etched whimsies. I enjoy doing these puzzles so much that I don't want to finish them, but then I remember I can flip them over and see the images and stories the whimsies tell on the back. The detailed etching on the whimsies sets them apart from other wooden puzzle companies where there is no or minimal etching and the whimsies are mainly just an outline of an object or person. My picture doesn't do these pieces justice -- I am amazed by how intricate these pieces are! I can't recommend Palmaris enough!
