Front Side: The Tranquil Night
Introducing “The Evening Concerto,” a wooden puzzle that reveals a serene evening setting where orchestra members retire to ancient stones, facing majestic mountains under a stunning night sky. The moon rises, casting a tranquil glow, while stars and constellations shimmer above, composing a silent symphony. This peaceful scene captures the essence of nature’s own performance, blending the beauty of the cosmos with the harmony of music, as “The Evening Concerto” finds peace in the calmness of the night.
Back Side: The Evening Concerto
Flip the puzzle to bring to life an enchanting orchestra in the heart of a mystical forest. This unique ensemble, led by a mesmerizing lady playing the flute, features a bear on the violin, two foxes on the double bass, and a raccoon on the French horn. As they perform Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker,” the golden Sun acts as their conductor, guiding their performance with radiant beams. Characters from the ballet, including Clara, The Nutcracker, Herr Drosselmeyer, the Sugar Plum Fairy, the Mouse King, Mother Ginger, and the Polichinelles, dance gracefully through the air, creating a magical backdrop of swirling notes and ethereal melodies.

Crafted with precision from high-quality A-grade Poplar Plywood, “The Evening Concerto” exemplifies durability and exceptional craftsmanship. Each 1/4″ (6 mm) thick piece fits snugly, creating a seamless and engaging puzzling experience.

What an exquisitely crafted puzzle! The s mell of the freshly cut wood is intoxicating. The imagery is vibrant. The cut of the puzzle is tight and precise. I look forward to doing more Palmaris puzzles!
Elizabeth,
Your kind words truly made my day! I’m so pleased the scent of the poplar and those snug, precise cuts hit all the right notes for you. When I designed The Evening Concerto, I wanted every piece to feel like a musical moment:) Did you have a favourite instrument or scene as you assembled it? I can’t wait to hear which part resonated most, and I’ve already got a few new puzzles brewing that I think you’ll love as much. Thanks again for sharing your experience, and here’s to many more Palmaris puzzles in your future!
Warmly,
Oleg
Of all the puzzles I’ve ever seen or done, this is by far my favorite. I could easily sit with all the woodland animals, looking at the stars and the moon every day of my life and be happy. The constellations in the skies fascinate me now and as a kid going every week to the planetarium. The colors are so vibrant, the overall feeling so content and peaceful. I simply love this image, and I don’t think any company could’ve made it into a puzzle the way Palmeris has. But if that wasn’t enough, the back of the puzzle is beyond brilliant. I could name the images and the instruments but just take a look. I’ve never seen anything like it. I did this puzzle when it wasn’t mine and even then I had to purchase it just to have.
Thank you for this beautiful review, Patti! I’m so happy The Evening Concerto whisks you into that peaceful, starlit woodland! It is one of my favorite artworks by Kat Fedora! I couldn’t agree more about the back engraving bringing the story to life, and I hope you return to this puzzle again and again. I truly hope you enjoy discovering the Nutcracker ballet on the back 🙂
